MWA is a storied organization with a golden past and an exciting present. Each spring, the organization presents the Edgar Awards, widely acknowledged to be the most prestigious awards in the genre. Association of Former IRS Executives
It was formed to provide an avenue for former executives of the Internal Revenue Service to communicate and associate with each other and the Service through meetings and periodic issuances. Membership is open to individuals who previously held a board covered executive position in the Internal Revenue Service.
