GRACE QUINN

Sassy, fashion-savvy young executive who stalks evildoers while teetering on stilettos. She's the antithesis of the typical IRS employee, an intellectual with a penchant for Shakespeare and a talent for solving murders. Her insatiable curiosity and impulsive nature lead Grace into danger and romance as she confronts larcenous attorneys, duplicitous taxpayers and obstinate accountants. Who knew government work was so much fun?

PATRICK FONG

PH.D; LL.D; Babe Magnet, Summa Cum Laude. The love of Grace's life, he's the type of gorgeous, brilliant, sexy, rich guy you always meet at work. His thick black hair, elegant features, and six-plus feet of sculpted muscle lead Grace into mortal sin territory every time she sees him. Although Patrick's vague about his profession, Grace believes he's a spy. Between foiling crimes and pursuing Grace, Patrick Fong is one busy guy. His desire for a conventional family life terrifies her almost as much as the thought of losing him.

THERESE HARDING

Spunky CPA and sidekick, Therese lost the memo about being deadly dull and boring. She's an IRS alumna who's made it big in the private sector. Therese is that rare accountant, a good sport who throws caution to the wind and joins Grace in her harebrained schemes.

CHEN LEE

Patrick's devoted family retainer, sensei and houseman. Chen is Grace's adversary; a wily fusion of Machiavelli and Sun Tzu who hopes Patrick will find a nice Chinese girl and dump Grace.

JUSTIN FONG

Forensic psychiatrist, major hunk and Patrick's identical twin. He's Brooks Brothers to Patrick's Brioni, a sweet and steady presence with a fifth degree black belt.

MARY HAGAN

Elegant CPA whose Southern accent, gleaming platinum bob and perfect manners mask a devious mind. She's Grace's first boss, a sultry survivor of office politics with an eye for the main chance.

MAGDALA EVANS

As the top civil servant in the IRS, this former child psychologist finds plenty of head cases in Washington. After paying her dues for 20 years, she became the first woman ever to head the tax agency. Magdala's impeccable style, self-confidence, and shrewd instincts make her a superstar, a Black woman who makes no apologies for being female.

JAMES CLARKE

D.C. police lieutenant and jaded homicide veteran, he's had more than one encounter with the meddlesome Ms. Quinn. He values Grace's instincts and insider knowledge even though he often considers her an intrusive pest.

JONATHON GREY

Grace's revered mentor, friend and just a bit more--a brilliant mind wrapped in incredibly sexy packaging. Patrick loathes him, but Grace adores Jonathon and risks her life to extricate him from a murder charge.

MICHAEL LEROI

Foxy French Interpol agent with a soft spot for Grace. Michael provides moral support and physical comfort when Patrick Fong abandons her. Women lust after Michael's sun-streaked hair, big blue eyes and toned body. He and Patrick are respectful adversaries: twin towers of brains and testosterone.

MARY ALICE WARD

Grace's kooky sidekick and long-time friend. A beautiful blend of Native American and Latina genes gave Mary Alice her incredibly long legs and a face that loves the camera. Her employment profile is a tad unconventional: She's an occasional realtor, artist's model and part-time call girl. No one questions her courage or loyalty to Grace. Mary Alice is the ultimate survivor. Go to top of page
